Thomas Hospital Geriatric Medicine Fellowship

Thomas Hospital is pleased to announce the approval by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program to begin in July of 2024. Dr. Harvey McCulloch, Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program Director, as well as the other faculty are excited to train physicians who have successfully completed either an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency in the care of the aging population. The one-year Fellowship will accept up to two qualified fellows per year. Fellows will obtain expertise in delivering and developing innovations in person-centered medical care — care that helps older adults safely navigate the health care system, maintain dignity and independence, and experience improved quality of life and well-being. The addition of the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Hospital extends the Mission and Vision of the Internal Medicine Residency Program which is to create physician leaders who will serve our community with integrity and the highest standards of medical care.
