About Mobile Infirmary’s Foundation

Infirmary Foundation is Mobile Infirmary’s non-profit fundraising arm. With healthcare costs rising and reimbursements stagnant, it would be impossible for Mobile Infirmary to remain on the cutting edge in healthcare delivery without the support of our community and the work of Infirmary Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to ensure that Mobile Infirmary has the resources it needs to provide the best medical treatment possible to its patients. Having raised more than $28 million since 1984 and governed by a board of directors composed of medical, community and corporate leaders, the Foundation’s work is critical to the successful operation of Mobile Infirmary.

The Foundation contributes to Mobile Infirmary through our development efforts in the community including:

  • Managing capital campaigns to raise funds for needed medical equipment and facilities
  • Directing and facilitating educational programs and outreach that promote a healthier community
  • Identifying and developing donor connections that result in the hospital's ability to expand healthcare programs and services in our community
  • Hosting special events to raise awareness about Mobile Infirmary's programs and the unmet needs of the hospital
  • Directing the Employee Assistance programs and partnerships with other organizations that align with the mission of Mobile Infirmary and Infirmary Health
