Thomas Hospital Auxiliary Health Career Scholarships
The Thomas Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to offer health career scholarships to Baldwin County residents pursuing degrees in healthcare. To be considered, applicants must be currently enrolled full time at an accredited college or university as juniors or seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or in the last year of an associate degree program. Undergraduate students must provide official documentation of full-time enrollment from their schools.
Graduate and medical school students are also eligible for this scholarship after they have completed their undergraduate studies and been accepted into a health career program. Acceptance letters into a health career program must be provided.
Selection of the scholarship recipients is based on the applicants’ grades, financial need and community involvement. The completed online application, official documentation of enrollment status, official transcripts from all colleges attended to the present time, acceptance letter into a healthcare program, a brief personal essay, professional and personal reference letters, and photo of applicant are required. All items must be received no later than APRIL 17.
Health career scholarships awarded by the Thomas Hospital Auxiliary are made possible through proceeds from an art auction fundraiser, Auxiliary memorials, and used books sales. Thomas Hospital Auxilian Bill Scott is serving as chairperson of the Auxiliary’s Health Career Scholarship Committee.
