About Brian

Dr. Brian Dix is a compassionate and experienced obstetrician-gynecologist, proudly serving women and families in our region.

With over 15 years of experience in women’s health, Dr. Dix is known for his dedication to providing personalized and comprehensive care across all stages of life.

Originally from Dothan, Dr. Dix has long had ties to Mobile having spent time with family during his childhood and attending the University of South Alabama. After a decade of practice in Alexander City, Alabama, he and his wife Laura, a native Mobilian, were excited to return home with their two children. Now reunited with extended family and lifelong friends, Dr. Dix is thrilled to continue his medical journey in a community close to his heart.

Dr. Dix earned his medical degree from the St. Matthews University in the Cayman Islands in 2009 and completed his OB-GYN residency at Charleston Area Medical Center through West Virginia University-Charleston. He holds board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).

Throughout his career, Dr. Dix has been passionate about delivering babies, managing high- and low-risk pregnancies, and providing expert care for gynecologic conditions. He is also recognized for his excellence in medical education, having received multiple honors during his residency, including the Excellence in Resident Teaching Award and Resident of the Year.
