Mobile Infirmary Internal Medicine Residency
The Mobile Infirmary Internal Medicine Residency Program is a medium-sized,
community-based residency program within a vibrant and established health
system, Infirmary Health. The program’s mission is to train Internal
Medicine physicians who lead with
Leadership, Integrity, Family, and Excellent Service—the core values represented in Infirmary Health’s mission of
LIFE.
The program’s leadership team fosters a supportive, learner-centered environment that combines robust clinical experiences with a strong emphasis on evidence-based medicine. Our goal is to graduate highly capable, efficient internists who are lifelong learners, committed to compassionate, high-quality care and the promotion of community health.
Through the program, residents become proficient in managing complex medical conditions, providing leadership in both hospital and ambulatory settings, and integrating quality improvement initiatives. Training is guided by the ACGME six core competencies and prepares graduates for careers in general internal medicine, hospital medicine, primary care, or subspecialty training.
The Mobile Infirmary Internal Medicine Residency offers:
- Three-year categorical positions with specialized tracks in Hospitalist and Primary Care
- One-year preliminary positions
Mobile Infirmary Internal Medicine Residents receive personalized mentorship and hands-on learning with accessible, dedicated faculty who are passionate about teaching and clinical excellence. The flexible curriculum adapts to the evolving needs of learners and the healthcare system.
Thank you for your interest in our program—we look forward to welcoming you to the Mobile Infirmary family.
