The Mobile Infirmary Internal Medicine Residency Program is a medium-sized,
community-based residency program within a vibrant and established health
system, Infirmary Health. The program’s mission is to train Internal
Medicine physicians who lead with
Leadership, Integrity, Family, and Excellent Service—the core values represented in Infirmary Health’s mission of
LIFE.
The program’s leadership team fosters a supportive, learner-centered
environment that combines robust clinical experiences with a strong emphasis
on evidence-based medicine. Our goal is to graduate highly capable, efficient
internists who are lifelong learners, committed to compassionate, high-quality
care and the promotion of community health.
Through the program, residents become proficient in managing complex medical
conditions, providing leadership in both hospital and ambulatory settings,
and integrating quality improvement initiatives. Training is guided by
the ACGME six core competencies and prepares graduates for careers in
general internal medicine, hospital medicine, primary care, or subspecialty training.

Three-year categorical positions with specialized tracks in Hospitalist
and Primary Care
One-year preliminary positions
Mobile Infirmary Internal Medicine Residents receive personalized mentorship
and hands-on learning with accessible, dedicated faculty who are passionate
about teaching and clinical excellence. The flexible curriculum adapts
to the evolving needs of learners and the healthcare system.

healthcare leader and offers groundbreaking innovations in technology
