Survivors' Stories | Audra Tuite, RN

default image

"I've been too busy. I've been raising children, I put everybody ahead of myself ... and so I had my first mammogram. At 53 years old."

Audra Tuite, RN with Infirmary Health, is a breast cancer survivor who urges women to follow guidelines for mammograms and early detection. At Infirmary Cancer Care, Audra says she was treated with dignity and compassion.

We are celebrating survivors' stories during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and encouraging our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, aunts and all our loved ones to schedule their mammograms and be aware of the risks of breast cancer.
