ASK THE EXPERTS: What is the most common type of sports injury? How can I avoid it?

One of the most common sports injuries I see is rotator cuff tears. I encourage my athletes to do rotator cuff strengthening three times per week to help prevent tears. A good cuff program also aids in preventing almost every other injury to the shoulder, such as labral tears and instability.
