Held at the John F. Rhodes Civic Center in Bay Minette, Celebrate Life is a champaign luncheon and unique handbag auction that supports women's health initiatives at North Baldwin Infirmary. The guest speaker is Dr. Caroline McGugin with infirmary Surgical Specialists. 

Dr. McGugin is a fellowship-trained breast surgeon who specializes in treating breast cancer and benign breast disease and offers oncoplastic techniques including breast-conserving surgery and nipple-sparing mastectomy. She completed her Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham & Women’s Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed her general surgery training at UAB. While a resident, she also completed a research fellowship and obtained her Masters of Science in Public Health with a focus in clinical and translational sciences. Dr. McGugin is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a certified breast surgical oncologist by the Society of Surgical Oncology and American Society of Breast Surgeons.
