Graduation Outcomes

Since welcoming our inaugural class in 2020, our program has prepared physicians for successful careers across the full spectrum of Internal Medicine. Many of our graduates have chosen to remain in Southern Alabama, serving the communities in which they trained in, with several returning to Thomas Hospital as faculty to help educate the next generation of residents. Our alumni have gone on to become hospitalists, primary care physicians, and fellows in a wide range of Internal Medicine subspecialties, including Addiction Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Critical Care Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, and Pulmonology/Critical Care.
