We understand that deciding to place a loved one in a long-term care facility is a difficult decision. Oakwood - North Baldwin's Center for Living is a 75-bed licensed skilled nursing facility located on the campus of North Baldwin Infirmary. Our staff provides round-the-clock care in a clean, comfortable and home-like environment. Established in 1991, our facility includes both private and semi-private accommodations that are spacious and tastefully-decorated. We also offer both long and short-term care.
The Oakwood team uses a holistic approach to caring for those admitted to our facility. This includes meeting physical, social, emotional and psychological needs through the following services:

All residents receive a nutritional screening assessment by our clinical dietitian following admission. Meals are prepared fresh daily by our on-site dietary department.
We offer a unique approach to social and recreational activities. Our certified recreational therapist designs daily activities that promote social and physical interaction, communication and fond memories. Oakwood also provides residents with transportation on outings, shopping trips and community activities.
