These messages are not from Infirmary Health or MyIHChart. They are designed to steal personal information by encouraging recipients to click malicious links or respond with sensitive information.

The fraudulent email may include the subject line or message:

“Your MyChart Medicare Kit Awaits!”

What You Should Do

If you receive an email like this:

• Do not click any links or buttons, including “unsubscribe” links.
• Do not open attachments from unknown senders.
• Do not reply to the email.
• Do not provide personal, financial, or health information.
• Delete the email immediately.

How to Recognize a Phishing Email

Use caution when an unexpected email offers Medicare kits, benefits, rewards, free products, or account updates. Common warning signs include:

• Spelling or grammatical errors
• Unusual or unfamiliar wording
• Requests for personal or financial information
• Pressure to act immediately
• Links to unfamiliar websites
• Attachments from unknown senders

Always review the sender’s email address carefully. Keep in mind that email addresses can be imitated or disguised, so the sender’s address alone may not confirm that a message is legitimate.
