To earn the credential, candidates must complete a competitive review process.
Cain said the achievement reflects not only personal growth, but the strength of the teams she works alongside each day.
“I am honored to receive this credential, which reflects the dedication of the exceptional pharmacy teams across Infirmary Health and our shared commitment to advancing patient-centered care,” Cain said. “Pharmacy leaders play an important role in improving quality, safety and innovation throughout healthcare, and I am grateful to work alongside colleagues who continually strive for excellence in serving our communities.”
Launched in 2022 and the first of its kind in pharmacy leadership, the Certified Pharmacy Executive Leader credential acknowledges the unique expertise of pharmacy executive leaders. To be recognized, pharmacists must have a minimum of five years of progressive and sustained executive leadership experience in a healthcare organization, leading the organization’s decisions involving operations, policies, programs and services.
