Infirmary Health welcomes, Katie Scott, M.D., general surgeon to Infirmary Surgical Specialists

Katie Scott, M.D., board-certified general surgeon, joins Infirmary Surgical Specialists (ISS). Dr. Scott will provide a broad range of surgical services including laparoscopic and open procedures, robotic surgery, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, thyroidectomy, colectomy, hernia repair, breast surgery, skin and soft tissue procedures, screening and diagnostic endoscopy.

Dr. Scott is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree and completed her residency in general surgery with the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

ISS has assembled the most comprehensive surgical team in the region encompassing more than 200 years of experience. They have four locations in Mobile and Baldwin County with surgeons specializing in general, breast, bariatric, gastrointestinal, colorectal, robotic, minimally invasive, oncology and endocrine surgery.
