Infirmary Cancer Care opens new comprehensive gynecologic oncology office

Infirmary Cancer Care announces the opening of a state-of-the-art gynecologic oncology office location at 3 Mobile Infirmary Circle, Suite 213. Rodney Rocconi, M.D., FACOG, and his staff see patients in the newly renovated space which includes areas for comprehensive care, including consultation, surgery and infusion treatments. This patient-centered space allows for all stages of care in one convenient location.

"Regardless of what we do in healthcare, as long as we're keeping a patient-centric approach, that's always the 'yes' answer, that's always the win," said Dr. Rocconi. "And I think we really have accomplished that here."

Dr. Rocconi is the Associate Director and Director of Research of Infirmary Cancer Care. In addition to his practice in Mobile and Baldwin Counties, he is also a professor of gynecologic oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the only National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center in Alabama.

Dr. Rocconi specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers.
