Mobile Infirmary is proud to partner with UAB Health System to bring specialized maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) care to women in Mobile and Baldwin counties through telemedicine. This innovative partnership connects patients directly with highly- experienced UAB MFM physicians while allowing them to receive care close to home.
Through secure telemedicine technology, UAB physicians can consult with patients, review medical information and imaging, evaluate pregnancy concerns, and collaborate with the Infirmary Health care team to develop an individualized plan of care.
MFM services are available to support women experiencing higher-risk or complex pregnancies, including:
- Advanced maternal age
- Multiple pregnancies
- Diabetes during pregnancy
- A history of complicated pregnancies
- Other special pregnancy concerns requiring MFM expertise
