Susan Vance, MD

About Susan

Dr. Vance is a graduate of Vanderbilt University’s premedical program and earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham in 1987. She went on to complete her residency at Tulane-affiliated hospitals with the Tulane University School of Medicine.

Dr. Vance is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Medical Society of Mobile County, and has been a Diplomate with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology since 1992.

In her free time, Dr. Vance takes care of her four rescue pups, grows camellias, runs, and is glued to her Kindle. She is married to Michael Purvis and resides in Spanish Fort.
