Event Details

The goal of the sibling class is to expose children to the hospital environment before their new sibling arrives. We plan to use demonstration and visual aids to help decrease your child’s anxiety when they come to meet their sibling in the hospital. We hope this class makes this transition smoother for your family. This class is suggested for children ages 2 - 8.

• Virtual tips on holding the newborn safely, newborn behavior, crying, sleeping
• A Certificate of completion, making them a “Certified Big Brother or Sister”
• Handout for the parents on other tips to help their child with the transition
• Tour of the postpartum room and a demonstration of what it will be like visiting mom at the hospital
