Infirmary Health Named to Forbes’ List of America’s Best Employers by State for Fifth Consecutive Year

MOBILE, Ala. (Sept. 11, 2026) — Infirmary Health has been named to Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Best Employers by State, marking the fifth consecutive year the health system has earned the distinction.

Forbes developed the annual ranking in partnership with market research firm Statista. The 2026 list was based on an independent survey of more than 245,000 U.S. employees working for companies with at least 500 U.S. employees, as well as more than 2 million employer evaluations.

Respondents rated how likely they were to recommend their employers and evaluated workplace factors such as wages and benefits, management, career advancement opportunities and working conditions. Participants also provided feedback about previous employers from the past two years and organizations they knew through their industries, friends or family members.

The scoring incorporated survey data from the past three years, with greater weight given to recent responses and feedback from current employees within each state. Companies did not pay to participate or be selected.
