Making Rounds on Fox 10 News: Baby Bistro Breastfeeding Support Group & World Breastfeeding Week

Sarah McDavid and Susan Mosley, both Registered Nurses and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants, recently sat down with Fox 10 News during their "Making Rounds" segment to discuss Infirmary Health's Baby Bistro breastfeeding support group events during World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month. 

"We are here to discuss with patients the benefits of breastfeeding but we also want mothers to know we are available to discuss any concerns or issues you're having when it comes to breastfeeding," said Sarah, as she discussed how all three of Infirmary Health's hospitals have Lactation Consultants on staff. 

Baby Bistro is a free breastfeeding support group with multiple monthly events at Mobile Infirmary, Thomas Hospital and North Baldwin Infirmary. For dates and to sign up for Baby Bistro, visit InfirmaryHealth.org/events.

You should consider attending Baby Bistro if you are concerned about one or more of the following:

• Slow weight gain or weight loss for baby
• Low breast milk supply
• Nipple breakdown
• Pain in the breast that is not resolving
• Difficulty latching
• Transfer weight assessments
