March of Dimes 39 Weeks Campaign:

Don't rush your baby's birthday. More and more births are being scheduled a little early. Experts are learning that this can cause problems. If possible, it's best to stay pregnant for at least 39 weeks. If your pregnancy is healthy, wait for labor to begin on its own. Infirmary Health is currently one of 100 hospitals in the country and the only healthcare system in the state of Alabama to adopt the March of Dimes 39 Weeks initiative. Click here to learn more about the March of Dimes Healthy Babies are Worth the Wait campaign.
