This completely FREE event, hosted by Thomas Hospital, is a conversation for girls ages 14-18 and their parents. It will provide developmentally appropriate and medically accurate information on the important aspects of growing up to support and guide conversations between teens and their families.

Topics will include 

- The recommended age a female should begin seeing a gynecologist.

- The importance of annual gynecology appointments.

- Details about a woman's menstrual cycle.

- Information on STD's and sexual health.

This conversation will be guided by Megan Missanelli, M.D., M.P.H., an OB-GYN with Bayside Women's Health in Fairhope, Alabama.
