Sandra Alexander, M.D., and Wes Cowan, M.D., lead Coastal Medical Group at this location. Dr. Alexander and Dr. Cowan are trusted and experienced primary care providers. Dr. Alexander has served south Baldwin County for more than 25 years. She is a graduate of University Gama Filho in Brazil and completed post-graduate education in oncology, general surgery and medical research. Dr. Cowan has served with the United States Navy as a physician for more than five years and retired as a Lieutenant Commander. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his residency at Navy Hospital Camp Lejeune. He is a board-certified family medicine physician.
